K-Electric started the 8119 SMS Service so that its customers could get help right away. After signing up, users can be keep up to date on any changes K-Electric makes in their area. This SMS service can be uses to;

How to Sign Up for the SMS Service?
Type REG (space) [your 13-digit account number (for example, REG 0100087654321)] to register. send a message to the number 8119.
When you sign up for the K-Electric mobile service, you will get a welcome note in the mail soon after you send in your request.

If you are signing up, send a message to 8119 with the word “BILL” in it.
Users who are not registered can text “BILL [space] Your 13-digit account number” to 8119. “BILL 101050769047” would be an example.

If you are signed up, you can send the text “LS” to 8119 by typing “LS” and sending it.
